My third tip for getting more conversions is creating a customer journey that connects and converts.

Write down all the steps that happen from the time someone is interested, to after they click the buy button.

This will help you create your pre-launch experience to warm up your audience using design, and then you’ll have a step-by-step process you can follow to ensure they get the right emails at the right time.

When I get on a call to sell my sales page design services with clients, I use slides that outline the 4 phases of my design project, and I don’t really have to do much selling, because it becomes an easy yes for my clients once they see the results I get and how my process works.

When people are selling their offers, a popular thing to do is write a post it note on their wall with the person’s name celebrating the sale.

Don’t get me wrong. I love it when people celebrate getting new customers.

But if I’m being honest, I wish more course creators did more than just throw their customers inside of Kajabi or course platform and send them on their way.

There are a lot of ways to offer support inside your courses and programs:

1. Live coaching calls.

2. An onboarding email sequence.

3. A quiz to put them on the right track for success depending on where they’re at in life or business.

4. An online community for a place to ask questions.

5. Actual homework assignments.

6. Create discussions.

7. Weekly Office Hours.

When creating course plans, map out your entire customer journey before you start promoting. When you’re clear about the end result your clients will get, it will become easier for them to get it.

Better success stories equals more names on post it notes because the post it is just the start of the journey for your students and for you as a leader.

Your design can only do so much for you when you don’t have a clear offer or a customer journey that makes sense.

Thanks for listening, and stay tuned for the next episode coming out tomorrow to help you get more conversions in your business!
